Todd Goodwin

Board Certified Hypnotist
Certified Master Practitioner of NLP
Board Certified Fellow, National Guild of Hypnotists

Todd Goodwin is among the leading hypnotists (1 in 500) to be honored by the National Guild of Hypnotists with the title “Board Certified Fellow.” He is also a Master Practitioner of neurolinguistic programming (NLP).

In 2007, Todd founded Goodwin Hypnosis (originally known as the Miami Hypnosis Center). He has since helped thousands to overcome emotional trauma, unwanted habits, burnout and overwhelm, self-worth issues, worry and anxiety, phobias, and panic by targeting their root causes, not just the symptoms. He uses evidence-based methods, including the Rewind Technique and Integral Eye Movement Therapy (two effective alternatives to EMDR) and principles of the Demartini Method.

In 2019, Todd wrote Break the Chains of Smoking: How to Escape the Mental and Emotional Prison That Keeps You Addicted and developed its 30-day hypnosis system.

When in Miami, Todd presented to University of Miami medical students, as well as medical staff at both Baptist and Jackson Health Systems. He held workshops at Canyon Ranch, the International Employee Assistance Professionals Association, and Miami-Dade County’s health and fire departments. Todd has given interviews to media outlets like the Miami Herald, Telemundo, and local radio programs and numerous podcasts. He also taught hypnosis certification courses. Watch him demonstrate a few techniques.

Todd has a BA in behavioral science from Washington University and a master’s degree in nutrition and health promotion from Simmons University. He is currently a member of the Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine and Vagus Nerve Society.

Board Certified Hypnotist
Certified Master Practitioner of NLP

Gina Goodwin is among the 2% of hypnotists who have been board certified by the National Guild of Hypnotists. She is also a certified Master Practitioner of NLP.

After her mother’s death in 2012, she saw Todd at the Miami Hypnosis Center to help her with grief, trauma, and unhealthy behaviors. As a result of her amazing results, Gina studied to become a certified hypnotist in 2014 and joined the practice the next year. In 2017, Gina earned her board certification and has since become an exceptional hypnotist. You can read her testimonial or watch her share her story in the video below.

Gina has assisted clients with trauma, smoking, eating habits, anxiety and stress, irrational fears, fear of failure/success/rejection, low self-esteem, sleep problems, and grief. Like Todd, she combines hypnosis with proven tools like the Rewind Technique, Integral Eye Movement Therapy, and principles of the Demartini Method.

Gina stands apart from other hypnotists because her personal suffering and healing gave her purpose – to help others heal themselves. She “gets it” and is dedicated to helping her clients achieve similar breakthroughs using the same methods that worked for her.

Gina has co-hosted Wake Up Calls with Todd and Gina Goodwin, an educational program that covers health, relationships, emotional challenges, unwanted habits, and more.
